SPOIT is a GIS-based innovative Tool accessible to all stakeholders, investors, government, municipal officials and the general public. The main goal of the tool is to provide decision support mechanisms for the development of cultural heritage attractions/sites in deprived remote and peripheral areas that are lagging behind and are interested in establishing new, or developing existing, cultural tourism sites to strengthen economic and social sustainability.
